eurovis is a collective of film-makers, collaborating with students across Europe to create films. The project, first conceived by Irish film-maker Declan Cassidy, grew from a workshop at Comedy Cluj International Film Festival in Cluj Napoca, Romania which he delivered alongside fellow Irish film industry professionals Edwina Forkin (producer), Fiona Ashe (writer/director). The workshop took a practical look at low budget transnational European co-productions and the response was such that plans for film-maker collaborations emerged.

... feature length film ...

The first project in development is a 24/14 Short Challenge. Film-makers from across Europe will each shoot a short film on an agreed common theme. These films will stand independently but will also combine to create a feature length film such as the much lauded Paris je t'aime. Each film-maker will recruit a cast and crew, largely from the student population, and work with them to develop their project to production stage. At this point each team will have two weeks to simultaneously shoot, edit and submit their film.

... distribution ...

The combined feature film will premiere at the 2016 edition of the Comedy Cluj International Film Festival. The film has the opportunity to appear on the film festival circuit in its entirety or the constituent individual short films can be submitted to festivals independently. In addition the film, presuming that a sufficient standard is adhered to, will be signed to a professional distribution company.

... resources ...

As each film-maker comes aboard she/he will appear under the 'partners' tab. In addition, a range of resources - such as talent release forms, schedule templates, budgeting templates etc - will be provided under the 'resources' tab.
